Lifeform: Snake-Eel

Family: Ophichthidae (Greek, "serpent-fish")
These harmless creatures are designed to look like venomous snakes, and

often hide in the sand, burrowing tail-first. They are largely nocturnal and live in warm, shallow waters. They have an excellent sense of smell, and prey on fish, cephalopods and crustaceans.
